Offered by HealthCareerU, this program allows currently certified or recently expired EMTs (within 2 years) to efficiently renew their credentials and maintain peak competency.
We offer flexible enrollment options to suit your needs:
- Didactic Only: Complete the 24 hours of required classroom instruction.
- Skills Verification Only: Complete the required in-person skills testing session.
- Full Refresher Course: Enroll in both the Didactic instruction and the Skills Verification session.
- Program Title: EMT Refresher
- Total Hours (Didactic): 24 Hours, plus required in-person skills verification.
- Delivery Format: Hybrid (Live Online Synchronous Lectures + Live In-Classroom Skills Testing).
- Prerequisite: Valid or recently expired EMT certificate (within 2 years).
- Curriculum: Based on the US Department of Transportation’s EMT-Basic Refresher National Standard Curriculum (DOT HS 808 624, September 1996).
